Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah completed his first training session with the Black Stars in Arnhem on Sunday evening with Schalke ace Kevin-Prince Boateng taking part.

Kwesi Appiah with his assistant Maxwell Konadu led the 23 players available in camp to a 20 minutes jogging to warm the muscles up after flying from Accra to Dutch city.

The team was then divided into two groups with Appiah leading the likes of Daniel Opare, Samuel Inkoom, Jeffrey Schlupp, Harrison Afful, Jerry Akaminko, John Boye, Rashid Sumaila, Jonathan Mensah, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Afriyie Acquah and Christain Atsu to do stretching exercises.

Konadu took charge of the group comprising Albert Adomah, Kevin-Prince Boateng, David Accam, Asamaoh Gyan, Abdul Majeed Waris, Jordan Ayew, Dede Ayew, Kwadwo Asamaoh, and Mohammed Rabiu.

The team was divided into two groups with goalkeepers Fatau Dauda and Stephen Adams in post on a half park game which lasted 30 minutes.

Appiah rounded off today training by talking to the group.

AC Milan duo Sulley Muntari and Micheal Essien, who have been excused to report late, are expected to arrive in camp on Monday morning.

Midfielder Mubarak Wakaso will also fly out from Accra after failing to travel with the team on Saturday night because he could not find an important document.

Goalkeeper Adam Kwarasey, who responded to an emergency call from his Norwegian club Stromsgodset, is said to be on his way to camp after featuring in a league match on Saturday.
