Hasaacas Ladies will be without their star player, Abdulai Mukarama, for the CAF Women's Champions League Qualifiers due to an injury.

The former Black Princesses captain was expected to lead the line for Hasmal in their quest to return to the continental competition, but she will be unavailable for the qualifying campaign because of the injury.

Despite her injury, the 2023 African Gold medalist remains with the team, offering support as they prepare for the tournament.

Mukarama, the club's top scorer for the 2023/24 Malta Guinness Women's Premier League season, made a remarkable return to the local scene after signing with Hasaacas Ladies for the 2023/24 season.

She scored 11 goals, helping Hasaacas claim the women's top-flight championship for the first time since 2021, marking their fifth league title overall.

The Sekondi-based team is set to depart for Abidjan this week for the WAFU B qualifiers, where they are drawn in Group B alongside Nigeria's Edo Queens, AS Garde National of Niger, and Burkina Faso's Omnisports Etincelle.
