The Black Galaxies of Ghana will depart for Uyo on Friday, December 27, for the return fixture of the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers.

Didi Dramani and his side were held to a goalless draw in the first leg of the qualifiers last Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Black Galaxies held their final training session at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday, December 26, ahead of the return fixture this weekend.

The 26 players, together with the technical team, will jet off to Uyo on Friday morning and will hold their final training later in the evening at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

Despite failing to win the first leg, the Black Galaxies are determined to secure a positive result that will help them secure a spot in the tournament, which is scheduled to be hosted in February 2025 in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania.

Having defeated Nigeria on penalty shootouts to qualify for the last edition of the CHAN, the Black Galaxies are aiming for a second consecutive win over the Super Eagles B.

Kick-off for the game is scheduled for 16:00 GMT.
