Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has apologised to Ghanaians after the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying failure.
The manager took full responsibility, noting that he is aware of the significance of the AFCON to Ghanaians.
Speaking after a disastrous end to the qualifiers, Otto Addo said he rate the AFCON above the FIFA World Cup, and thus, he is not pleased with the team coming up short.
The Black Stars ended the qualifiers losing three and drawing three out of their six games.
As a result, the four-time African champions finished bottom of a group that consisted of Angola, Sudan and Niger.
This is the first time the country will be missing out on the continental showpiece since 2005.
