ABC/FA Cup semis Today

October 18 - THE ABC/FA Cup semi-final matches will be honoured at the Accra Stadium tomorrow.

According to a Ghana Football Association statement yesterday, the new arrangement of fixing both matches at the Accra Stadium on the same day was due to the engagement of the Kumasi Stadium tomorrow.

Originally, Okwawu United were scheduled to play Obuasi Goldfields at the Kumasi Stadium, while Accra Hearts of Oak encounter Dawu Youngsters in the other semi-final duel in Accra.

In connection with this, balloting will be conducted during the technical meeting of the GFA at 11 a.m. tomorrow to determine the order in which the matches will be played.

Earlier on, Okwawu United had protested against the FA's decision to shift their match against Goldfields to Kumasi contrary to the original Accra Stadium venue indicated by the live ballot conducted on GTV.
