The African Boxing Union (ABU) has rated 19 Ghanaian boxers in its latest ratings mailed to the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) last Thursday.
Conspicuously missing from the list, however, was the reigning national super featherweight champion Raymond Narh who stopped former champion Smith Odoom in round eight when they met about three months ago.
While Odoom was still recognised as the national champion and rated first, Raymond Narh was omitted in the latest ratings.
A source at the GBA told the GNA Sports that they had written to inform ABU about the discrepancy and assured that it would soon be rectified.
Super middleweight Prince Mama tops the list as he was rated first in his division, which also has Braima "Bukom Banku" Kamoko pegged at seventh and Charles Adamu at the ninth.
In the Super welterweight category where Osumanu Adama sits as champion, Robertson Kutsokey is the 11th contender behind South African William Gare and Tunisian Fethi Missaoui who are rated first and second.
In contention for Joshua Clottey's welterweight belt are Joshua Okine who is number four in the queue, Ashiaqauye Aryee, number nine and Osumanu Yahaya, number 14.
Similarly, three Ghanaians are rated in the super lightweight class where Ugandan Davis Lusimbo is the champion. Lantekwei Hammond is number three, Stephen Okine is eighth and Kwabena Safo is 10th.
James "the Bukom Fire" Armah tops the contenders for the vacant lightweight title, while Ben Neequaye is rated eighth.
The number one contender to the vacant featherweight crown is Alfred Tetteh and behind him in fifth and ninth positions respectively are Osumanu Akaba and Ben Odametey.
Malik Jabir, the number one contender is the only Ghanaian on the super bantamweight list where South African Vuyani Phulo reigns as champion.
In the bantamweight division where there is no champion, Anyetei Laryea occupies the number one position and far behind at number 14 is Joe Power.
Alonyi Moyoyo Mensah remains the champion in the cruiserweight class where no Ghanaian is rated.
