Ghanaian defender Abdul Mumin Suleiman is in contention for the Goal of the Month award in the Spanish La Liga.
The Black Stars center-back's strike for Rayo Vallecano against Osasuna has been selected for September's Goal of the Month.
The defender scored a belter in Rayo's 3-1 victory earlier this month and was also named Man of the Match after the game.
Abdul Mumin will be competing with Raul Garcia of Osasuna and Sandro Ramirez of UD Las Palmas for the coveted award.
He becomes the second Ghanaian player to be nominated for an award in the month of September in La Liga, joining Inaki Williams, who has been selected for the Player of the Month award.
Abdul Mumin has been an integral member of Rayo Vallecano since joining the club last summer from Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes.
He has also been a regular member of the Black Stars in recent times.
