Legendary Abedi Pele has ruled himself out of running for the most powerful job in Ghana in the future.

The three-time African Footballer of the Year, insists he’s no longer interested in becoming the leader of the Ghanaian FA.

The iconic figure has constantly been linked with the Ghana FA job after he withdrew from the race in 2001.

The former Marseille midfielder has revealed he’s interested in doing other things apart from running for the top job in the country.

“Not at all, it’s something that when you are young. You have certain dreams but as you grow and achieve other things in your life, you realize that it’s not your field at all,” he told Starr FM

It’s far from you and where you are the best, you have to stay at that angle and keep excelling and that is what I am doing.”

Incumbent Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi has been tipped to remain in charge for a very long time.
