Ex-Kotoko defender Abeiku Ainooson has berated the club for the shabby treatment meted out to him upon his return to Ghana.

Ainooson returned to his native country after his loan contract with Sudanese side Al Hilal was terminated.

The former New Edubiase centre-back was billed to re-join the Porcupine Warriors, but the club sensationally decided against re-engaging him.

He subsequently joined newly-promoted Dreams FC on loan.

But he has revealed his disappointment over the poor treatment meted out to him by his former employers.

“It was a week to the deadline day that coach Michael Osei called me – he was even finding it very difficult to tell me, but I found out due to my own instincts," he told Takoradi-based West Gold Radio

“It was very heartbreaking to accept because I was called by Kotoko when I was in Sudan to come join the team.

“When I came too, I expressed a profound joy in playing for the side I have always loved even during my childhood days – such is life and I have to move on, so I did."

The defender has been towering at the back Dreams FC since he joined on loan.
