Abubakar demands US$17,000 to sign new Hearts deal

Hearts of Oak captain Moro Abubakar is demanding US$ 17,000 to sign a contract extension.

Abubakar’s current deal expires at the end of the season and has been offered a two-year deal.

But the battling midfielder insists he will only extend his contract if he receives an improved deal.

Hearts are ready to meet his quotations as the player who will be available to join a new club on a free transfer.

“Yes, the club wants him to sign a contract extension. We are still negotiating with him and his team but we are hopeful everything will be put to rest in the next few days,” an unnamed official has been quoted by Sports Crusader.
