Accra Hearts of Oak to sack 10 players

Ghanaian side Hearts of Oak are ready to offload about ten players after Sunday’s final first round matches.

Head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has been instructed to trim his squad size to 25 before the second half of the season begins on 9 January, 2011.

Midfielders Frank Yeboah and Abraham Annan who joined the club before the start of the season will be shown the exit.

Goalkeeper Laud Quartey and Ebenezer Tetteh are likely to be affected by the exercise.

Hearts are on the road to Real Tamale United in the league.

The 20-time champions have been poor this term in eighth place having lost five times already.
