“Acheampong felt uncomfortable working with Fabin” – Inter Allies CEO

The Chief Executive Officer of Inter Allies FC, Delali Senaya has admitted that Yaw Acheampong recently quit the Tema based club due to his discomfort with the management’s decision to hire a new Head Coach, Paa Kwesi Fabin.

Coach Fabin was hired on December 30th last year to head the technical bench of Inter Allies, but Yaw Acheampong resigned on January 2nd, 2015; shortly after the appointment of the Black Starlets Head Coach.

“If anybody is not in a comfortable position or needs help, I will bring them. So, what is wrong if we bring an experienced brain to be your coach? There is nothing wrong with that.” Mr. Senaya told Accra-based radio station Joy 99.7FM.

“If I should quote from his letter he sent to me to resign, he is not comfortable with the situation and that is normal,” he added.

Coach Yaw Acheampong was appointed as the Head Coach of Inter Allies in July 2014 as a replacement for current Hearts of Oak Coach Herbert Addo.
