Acheampong on Marseille radar

Anderlecht and Ghana winger Frank Acheampong could be a direct replacement for compatriot Andre Ayew at Olympique Marseille.

Marseille have failed to tie Ayew down to a new deal and are resigned to losing him on a free transfer this summer.

As per a report by Belgian news outlet Voetbal Nieuws, the 21-year-old has come up on the list of options being considered by the Stade Velodrome side managed by Argentine coach Marcelo Bielsa.

Acheampong, known for his pace and technique, joined Anderlecht in 2013 and has steadily cemented a regular role in the side especially this season.

He has made 25 Jupiler League appearances with two goals and four assists so far.
