Aduana Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams was excited to see his side halt a two-game losing streak.

The shot-stopper, who was under-fire recently for his performance, especially the 1-3 FA Cup loss to Asante Kotoko, has expressed relief after brilliantly manning the post in the club's 1-0 home victory over struggling Hearts of Oak in the FCPPL on Sunday.

Striker Richard Arhin continued his rich home scoring form with a header from the corner in the 39th minute and that proved the only goal the match day 22 encounter could produce at the Dormaa Park.

”We went two games without a win and were eager to get this one done to appease our fans. We are happy with the win,” the Ghana international said after the game.

“We still have a chance at the title. Everybody is winning at home and so we must and do well also in the rest of the away games. We will see how things end in the remaining games.”

Aduana maintain their third position with 36 points behind Berekum Chelsea and first placed AshantiGold but have closed the gap on the leaders who lost 1-2 away to Heart of Lions.
