Ghana youth international Bright Addae has poured out his frustrations at his slow career growth, which has denied him top-tier football.
Addae, 21, was tipped for greatness when he made a cameo in Ghana’s winning of the 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup in Egypt.
After the tournament, he signed for Italian side Parma but could not break into the first team and had loan spells at Crotone (Serie B), Slovenian club Gorica and Gubbio.
Now at Italian third-tier side Ascoli Calcio, the former Wa All Stars player wished he was playing for a top-flight.
“Sometimes I feel bad because I joined Parma with the hope that I will get first team action but things did not turn out that way, but that’s football so I will take it in good faith,” Addae told Accra-based Starr FM.
