Ghana winger Albert Adomah scored twice for English Championship side Middlesbrough as they hammered League One side Barnsley 4-0 in a pre-season friendly on Wednesday night.
The 27-year-old was in swashbuckling shape as he netted in the 49th and 65th minutes before assisting Spanish Kike forward to grab the fourth goal at the Oakwell Park.
After applying a brilliant finish to an incisive pass four minutes into the second-half to underline his class, the lanky winger smashed home a fantastic 25 yard volley from an Adam Reach well-laid pass.
Kike had opened the scoring for Middlesbrough but they were unable to top up the scoring before the end of the first half.
Adomah then used the second-half to score twice before setting up the four goal for Aitor Karanka’s men.
He has now scored three goals in Middlesbrough’s pre-season.
