Adoube signs For Hansa Rostock

Ghanaian international, Godfried Adoube of German second division Reutlingen will join Hansa Rostock this summer as the midfielder signed a three-year-contract with the club.

Hansa manager Armin Veh has been keen on the 26-year-old Ghanaian for some time and the two have linked up previously at Reutlingen and Greuther F?rth.

Adoube will join Rostock on a free transfer and is Veh's first signing for the new season.

Veh has been a strong supporter of Aduobe throughout his management career and had managed the midfielder at both Greuther Furth and Reutlingen before deciding to bring him to join his new side at the Ostseestadion.

Meanwhile, in a related transfer news, the transfer move by Ghanaian midfielder, Abdul Karim Ahmed, from the Norwegian division two side, Kongsvinger IL to Viking FK in the top league, which was around ?70,000, failed to materialize.

This was after Viking secured themselves a clause to drop the deal if the player from Ghana did not get his work permit renewed, which he didn’t.

Abdul Karim Ahmed once featured for Ghana's National Under-20 team, the Black Satellites during the World Youth Championship hosted by Malaysia in 1998.
