Ghana Premier League side Aduana FC is reportedly set to appoint former Romanian footballer Aristica Cioaba.
The Romanian is set for his third spell with the club and will replace Yaw Acheampong, who was dismissed following a poor start to the 2024/2025 season.
According to multiple reports, Cioaba has already landed in Ghana, arriving in the late hours of Monday, December 9, 2024.
Aduana hinted at the reported appointment by posting the Romanian flag and other emojis depicting a coach.
Aristica Cioaba, 53, was first appointed as Aduana FC coach in 2011, where he lasted just a season. He returned in 2016, was appointed halfway through the 2015/2016 season, and departed at the end of the season.
At the moment, details of his contract are unknown and will be revealed after his unveiling.
Cioaba has vast experience in his managerial career, managing 12 clubs either as an assistant or head since 2005. He has served at four different African sides including Raja Casablanca, Al-Masry, Azam and Aduana FC.
Aduana FC sits 13th on the table with just 12 points after 12 games, winning 2, drawing 6, and losing 4.
Aristica Cioaba's first game on his return will be a trip to Berekum Chelsea on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
