Aduana Stars on Thursday, held their last training session at the Ajax Park in Legon-Accra before they travelled to Congo for their Confederation of African Football (CAF) Confederation Cup group stage fixture against AS Vita Club of Congo.

The session started with some stretching, after which they engaged in ball work and possession drills.

The coach of the side, Kenichi Yatsuhashi along with the 15 players called up for the game against AS Vita on Sunday, stretched out their bodies to shake of cramps and muscle work without the ball.

After the stretch, the team engaged in some physical heat up drills, as they were led by their coach to jump poles and loops, while the goal keepers tried their catch and throw routine with the goalkeepers trainer.

The team, after paired up for some possession and passing drills with the ball and went back to fitness work out.

Soon after that they broke into seven a side team, as they played round on reduced pitch size, before rounding off with little jogging, all without new captain Yahaya Mohammed as he took a breather after the possession and passing drills.

The training was more fun with former Black Stars player Sulley Muntari having his own workout routine along the pitch at the Ajax Park in Legon.

The team leaves for Congo on Friday at 1200 GMT to play AS Vita Club in their fourth game of the CAF Confed Cup group stages on Sunday July 26, 2018 at the Stade des Martyrs.
