Ghana plays Burkina Faso today at the African U17 Championship in Kegue, Togo
Just a few miles outside of the capital Lome, Kegue will host the majority of the matches in this year's championship
Group B features Burkina Faso, Eritrea and formers winners Nigeria and Ghana.
Debutants Eritrea face a baptism of fire as they take part in their first ever African finals because they play 2001 winners Nigeria in their opening match on Sunday.
Group A is made up of Gabon South Africa Togo Tunisia
Togo have beaten South Africa 2-0 in the opening match in Lome.
This is the seventh edition of the youth finals, which have produced players such as Ghana's Michael Essien and Razak Pimpong.
For the record, Ghana lead the way with two victories (1995 and 1999), followed by Egypt (1997), Nigeria (2001), Cameroon (2003) and Gambia (2005) with one apiece.
All four semi-finalists of the competition will go through to the Fifa under 17s tournament that will be held in South Korea this summer between 18 August and 09 September.
