The African Champions League clash between holders Hearts of Oak from Ghana and Etoile du Congo has been postponed for a week, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) said on Friday.
Hearts, who won a controversial final against Esperance of Tunisia last December, were due to open their title defence in a first round, first leg tie in Kumasi, on Sunday.
But Ghana, with three players from Hearts, meet Angola in the final of the African under-20 championship in Addis Ababa on the same day.
The youth championship has also caused the postponement of the Champions League tie between St George of Ethiopia and Tusker FC of Kenya. The first round, first leg match will now be played in Addis Ababa next weekend.
