Former Ghana international Abedi Pele reminded his Nania FC players of how good he was with two sensational free-kicks during the team’s training session on Friday.

Pele, who trains his Nania FC team at the Legon Park drilled home two excellently struck free-kicks as proof of how the ball should be elevated up and down the wall to give the goalkeeper no chance.

The former Marseille man had all clapping for him when he stepped up and like a frog to water, the maestro did not disappoint.

Regarded as a man with the best football family in Africa, the now 52-year-old is the dad of three Ghana internationals ( Rahim, Andre and Jordan Ayew) who have all played at the World Cup stage with Ghana.

He has been tipped to play a key role in the new CAF administration after recently elected president Ahmad Ahmad said he had held talks with him to take up a significant position in his administration.

“I have spoken to Drogba on the telephone, I saw Abedi Pele, my colleague’s seen Samuel Eto’o, I talked to Patrick M’boma,” The new CAF President said

Abedi Pele was ostracized under former CAF President Issa Hayatou as the then leader threw the former Marseille star out of a CAF committee for supporting Sepp Blatter during the FIFA presidential election campaign in 1998.
