Parma midfielder Afriyie Acquah has also joined the list of Ghanaian players who have recently spoken about their World Cup desires.
The on-loan TSG Hoffenheim player has had a good season since returning to the Serie A.
Despite the high level of competition in the Black Stars midfield set-up, Acquah is considering a call-up to the global showpiece.
“I am doing well and will feel great if selected for the World Cup," the former Palermo player told Accra-based Happy FM. "We’ve good players and being part of the squad will be a good feeling.”
Acquah has previously played for Ghana’s Under-17 and U20 sides.
