Afriyie Acquah holds first work-out with Sampdoria

Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah held his first training session with his new club Sampdoria on Thursday after passing a medical, DailySoccerGhana.com can confirm.

The ex-Palermo player, who has been handed the jersey number 30 at the Blucachiati, trained alongside fellow Ghanaian player Alfred Duncan.

The 23-year-old could make his debut for Sampdoria in the away Serie A clash against Chievo on Sunday.

Acquah, who was part of Ghana’s silver medal winning AFCON 2015 winning squad, spent last season on loan at Parma, where he made 14 appearances.
