Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah is worried about the current situation of Yeni Malatyaspor in the Turkey Super Lig.
Yeni Malatyaspor lost on the road to Galatasaray last Sunday with Acquah featuring for 71 minutes. This mark's their fourth consecutive league defeat and the five time in six games in the year 2020.
Statistically, Afriyie's club have conceded 13 goals whiles scoring a paltry four in their last six match. That has seen them dropped into 10th position on the league rung with 24 points after 21 games.
Afriyie returned to action in their home game against Ankaragucu after accumulating three maximum yellow cards. Unfortunately his presence did not change their fortunes, as the lost by a lone goal.
"We're not in the best of situation now and it hurts. We play very well but struggle to get results that our performance deserves."
