Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah could be handed a starting role for Parma against AC Milan on Sunday in the Serie A.
The holding midfielder has been in fine form and Parma coach Roberto Donadoni is expected to hand him his 10th start of the season at the San Siro venue.
Acquah has played 709 minutes in 16 matches for the sixth-placed side and had rave reviews in the Italian media.
The development increases the prospects of three Ghanaians playing in the fixture.
The 21-year-old could face compatriots Sulley Muntari and Michael Essien as Milan fight to prevent four straight defeats in the league.
Acquah is fighting hard for recognition as Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah prepares to name his final squad for the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.
