Agogo returns to Bristol Rovers?

Bristol Rovers and former Owls striker Junior Agogo is set to secure a move to a Championship club this week according to the players agent.

Owls boss Paul Sturrock has already stated he wants to bring two players to the club in time for the start of pre-season training, with a goalkeeper being priority.

Agogo's agent Saif Rubie told the News of the World: 'One club has agreed a fee and we are waiting for two Championship sides to make their move.'

Sturrock may want to add another striker to boost his squad ahead of the new season. A move for former Everton legend Duncan Ferguson has already broken down as both parties failed to agree terms.

The Ghana-born striker began his career at Hillsborough but failed to break into the first team. He moved to QPR in 2001 before moving to Barnet where he scored 19 goals in 36 appearances. Bristol Rovers then snapped him up for ?110,000 where he netted 41 goals in 106 league appearances.
