Udinese midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is raring to go ahead of the new Serie A campaign after recovering from a knee injury.
The 19-year-old impressed for Bianconeri last season but was robbed of game time towards the end of the campaign when he picked up a knee problem.
Agyemang-Badu now wants to make up for lost time after missing the World Cup and the 2009/10 run-in by having a storming season in Italy.
He told Ghana FA's website: "I was proud watching them even though naturally I was disappointed I was not a part of them.
"But I am fully fit now and just keen to get started for the season.
"I played a number of first team games last season and my target is to become a first team player for Udinese and hopefully the Black Stars in the process."
Agyemang-Badu started his career with Berlin F.C. before moving on to Berekum Arsenal in 2006. Loan moves at Asante Kotoko and Recreativo followed before a permanent transfer to Udinese this year.
