Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has ruled out a move away from Udinese in January.
The 25-year-old is enjoying perhaps his most improved season with the Italian club.
Badu’s enhanced form is likely to once again attract interest from clubs elsewhere.
The Ghana international has been linked several times to a move away from Udinese in recent years, but the move has since never materialized.
With the January transfer window on the horizon comes another flurry of reports of his imminent departure from the Italian club.
But the Ghana international says he is unlikely to make such a move in January especially with the current predicaments of Udinese in Serie-A.
“I am one of the most talked of player whenever the transfer window comes around, but no concrete offer has come,” he told Kasapa FM.
“The position of the club in the league is also not so good now. We have only 18 points and 13th in the league.
“The points difference between us and the bottom teams are so close that I don’t think it will be the right time to leave.
“My focus now is to help the team improve on its position so it will be difficult for me to move this January. Maybe in June it can happen but not in January.”
