The long awaited dreams of many Ghanaian soccer fans to bring back coach James Kwesi Appiah as the next Black stars coach has almost come to pass after the Al Khartoum manager reportedly passed his interview with the Ghana Football Association.

Out of over 95 coaches who applied for the vacant job, three of them named Willy Sagnol, Hugo Broos and favorite Kwesi Appiah were shortlisted for the final screening.

Many Ghanaian sports connoisseurs including erudite politicians have all thrown their weight behind the ex-black stars skipper to be given the mandate to reshape the image of the black stars.

In an interview with former Black stars lethal striker Augustine Arhinful admitted that Kwesi Appiah has the coaching credentials to manage the Black stars but should eschew the attitude of being too gentle to avoid criticisms.

‘’I believe coach Kwasi Appiah is the right person for the black stars job but the advice I will give to him is that he should be straightforward and upright in whatever he will do and this will help him get maximum control over the entire team and succeed as well’’. He revealed this to Asempa FM.

The GFA is expected to announce the appointment of Kwesi Appiah as the next Black stars coach in the coming days.
