Ahmed Toure aims to win titles with Hearts of Oak

Former Asante Kotoko striker Ahmed Toure says he is determined to achieve greatness with Hearts of Oak as he nears a move to the Accra-based club.

The 27-year-old has begun training with the Phobians even though the club is yet to announce his capture. Toure is a free agent having ended his stay with Egyptian club El-Gouna.

The Ivorian has had two prior spells in the Ghana Premier League with Asante Kotoko where he was once the star of the team.

Disciplinary issues however forced him out of the club.

Toure is now looking to reclaim his glory as he crosses carpets to join Hearts of Oak.

“I was very happy to train with Hearts and see all the players, some of which I already knew,” he told Hot FM.

“Yes, I want to offer my best for the club but helping the side achieve great things is the most important thing.

“I hope everything goes very well for me to join the side and then start my bid to help the side become great once more again.”
