Genk defender Joseph Aidoo has been handed a starting role by Coach Kwasi Appiah to partner John Boye following the absence of both Kassim Nuhu and Jonathan Mensah.
Kassim has been suspended for the game following accumulation of yellow cards while Jonathan Mensah is not fit to start.
Boye who is returning from suspension after attracting an avoidable red card in Ghana’s opening game with Benin is expected to employ a lot of experience at the back to prevent Ghana from conceding.
Speedsters Kwabena Owusu and Samuel Owusu have also been handed starting roles as the Black Stars look set to secure their first win of the competition to secure round 16 qualification.
Inter Milan star Kwadwo Asamoah will be starting from the bench and so will striker Asamoah Gyan.
Ghana are in a make or break encounter with Guinea-Bissau as they need to register a win to ensure qualification to the next stage of the competition.
Ghana have failed to pick a win in their two previous games against Benin and Cameroon and nothing but a win can secure them qualification.
