Al-Wahda president Morsi Hisaham Fouad will arrive in Ghana today, October 6, 2015, to sign a mega partnership agreement with Medeama.

Officials of the Saudi Arabia-based side are excited at the prospect of working closely with a Ghanaian club after both parties reached an agreement on the terms of engagement.

Top officials of Al-Wahda including the club’s president will arrive in the West African country today to hold talks with Medeama president Moses Armah in Accra.

The officials will also hold close-door meeting with Medeama board chairman Dr Tony Aubyn in the capital.

The team will then travel to Tarkwa-home of the ambitious Ghanaian side on Thursday, to explore ways that will be mutually beneficial to both clubs.

The partnership will see the Maroon share its coaching and business expertise with the two-time FA Cup champions.

Al Wahda will also offer practical support and advice in youth coaching, player development, fitness and medical matters, and football business strategy to the Mauve and Yellows.

The deal was brokered by Step by Step Football Management and will see Medeama benefit immensely from coaching expertise and exchange programmes.

Medeama will work closely with Al Wahda to help the club build and grow its brand in the emerging African territory.

The gulf side will also offer financial support to the Ghanaian side ahead of their participation in the CAF Confederation Cup next year.
