Ghana international Albert Adomah made his Premier League debut on Saturday in Middlesbrough’s season opener against Stoke City which ended 1-1.
Manager Aitor Karanta named the winger in his starting line-up at the Riverside Stadium.
He played the entire duration as new signing Alvaro Negredo opened the scoring on 11 minutes but Xhedran Shaqiri equalized with a free-kick in the 67th minute.
Adomah helped Boro to pick one of the automatic qualification spots from the Championship last season.
The 28-year-old made 43 appearances last season and scored six goals.
