Ghana winger Albert Adomah provided an assist for Jonathan Kodjia in Aston Villa's 2-0 over 10-man Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday in the English Championship.
Adomah moved up-front and looked a threat alongside Kodjia. He played a superb through ball for Kodjia’s second goal to seal the game.
Adomah got the round of applause his performance deserved when he was taken off in the 86th minute.
The assist was his ninth of the Championship season.
Kodjia had scored earlier to give Villa the lead,
It was a big setback for Wednesday who played with only 10 men for most of the second half after Vincent Sasso received a red card.
The dismissal for a heavy tackle on Conor Hourihane on the halfway line effectively killed off any hopes of them completing the double over Villa.
