Alfred Duncan plays full throttle as Sassuolo were thrashed 7-0 by Juventus

Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan saw ninety minutes as Sassuolo suffered a humiliating 7-0 defeat in the hands of Champions Juventus in on Sunday.

The Ghanaian who has been solid for his side this season could not help as the entire Sassuolo team looked function-less against the might of the old lady.

Gonzalo Higuain scored a hat-trick as Juventus thrashed Sassuolo to stay second in Serie A behind Napoli.

Chelsea-linked Alex Sandro opened the scoring and Sami Khedira added two more before the half-hour mark.

Miralem Pjanic made it 4-0 in the first half, before striker Higuain's treble in the second period.

Sassuolo are now 15th on the table, just five points adrift of the relegation zone.
