Alfred Duncan unhappy with yellow card against Cagliari

Sassuolo midfielder Alfred Duncan has bemoaned the booking he picked during their 1-1 draw with Cagliari over the weekend.

Duncan was on suspension tightrope ahead of the game against the Rossoblu after picking four yellow cards in the campaign.

But the 25-year-old could not keep his game in check as he picked a booking on the stroke of half time for a foul on Darko Lazovic.

The Ghanaian deemed the tackle minimal and lamented the caution by referee Gianluca Manganiello.

The card he picked means he will miss the crunch clash against table-toppers Juventus at the Mapei Stadium on Sunday.

Duncan took to his Instagram page to wail at the caution claiming that he is hurt by referee's decision to intentionally exclude him from the match against the Old Lady.

"This suspension hurts, also because I think I have not committed a foul. The referee has decided this and goes on."

"It is irritating to skip the match against Juventus because of someone else's mistake but life goes on..."
