Alhaji Hearts For Court?

Accra Hearts Of Oak supporters group in Sunyani, chapter 42 member Alhaji Hearts faces court action for assaulting two sports presenters of RADIO B. A. R Mr Cubagee Uriel and Raymond Yeboah for no justifiable cause.

Alhaji Hearts whose name has been mentioned in a two million and three hundred thousand cedis (2,300,000) scandal that has hit the club??(tm)s chapter attacked the two gentlemen at the premises of RADIO B. A. R few minutes after presenting the Drive Sports programme around 5:30pm yesterday

A Sunyani based sports manufacturer AWOSENT who claims to have loaned an amount of 2,000,000 cedis to chapter 42 to enable it prepare for a fund raising in aid of Hearts Of Oak??(tm)s Champions league campaign in 2003 has had difficulty recovering his money after the executives of the chapter promised to refund it in a week??(tm)s time .According to Mr Stephen Asamoah over 11,000,000 cedis was realised from the fund raising and wonders why his money has been locked up.

To show his determination to recover his money ,Mr Stephen Asamoah issued an ultimatum to Alhaji Hearts together with two other people of the chapter to refund his money else he will advise himself when RADIO B. A. R sports crew interviwed him at his office on Tuesday 20th April 2004. He claims Alhaji Hearts came to him to collect an amount of 2,000,000 cedis which some executives were aware of. Strangely enough these gentlemen have denied any knowledge of the the said amount.An ultimatum of 72hours expired on Friday 23rd April. 2004 .The story which was used by the two victims in their sports programme is presumed to be the worry of Alhaji Hearts therefore the assault.

The assault case is now with District police office of Sunyani as the victims have been issued with police medical forms.

In an another related development , a cheque of 300,000 cedis issued by Mr Stephen Asamoah in the name of Accra Hearts of Oak is still in the cupboard of one of the organising members of the fund raising.
