American Soccer Coach In Town

The head coach of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU), Tim O?Sullivan arrived in the country yesterday to identify footballers who have the aspiration to further their education in the United States.

VCU?s soccer programme has candidates from across the world and has provided several soccer talents with the opportunity for a bachelor?s degree in the United States.

O?Sullivan who is now in his ninth year as head coach of VCU will aside his talent search also pay courtesy calls on the Minister of State in charge of Education, Youth and Sports and the management board of the Ghana Football Association. He will also travel to Obuasi where he will be the guest of Ashantigold Soccer Academy.

The American coach will address a press conference at the FA secretariat at 11.30 am today after his meetings with the Minister and the FA management board.
