Amoah is Not Goal Scoring Solution

Matthew Amoah has been called Ghana's goal scoring hope for Saturday's World Cup qualifier against but the Dutch League top goal scorer insist he is not exactly the answer to Ghana's goal scoring problems.

Amoah told KickOffGhana.com he does not expect to start the crucial qualifier after missing the team's first five games. But he says when he is called upon it will be business as usual for him.

"I am not expecting to start but if I get the call I definitely will have a big part to play," he said.

Amoah has been in great form for NAC Breda in the Dutch top flight with eight goals in five games and has dominated the headlines in a Black Stars side where goal scoring has traditionally been problem.

"I can understand why people have talked so much about me but this is not pressure. I don't feel like the team will survive on my goals even though definitely at this moment I am playing with my confidence high."
