Former Asante Kotoko SC captain Amos Frimpong has revealed he would return to the Porcupine Warriors in the near future but for an official role.

Frimpong spent eight seasons with Asante Kotoko after he joined from BA United in July 2011.

The 28-year-old left the club for a stint with Guinean giants AS Kaloum Star in 2008 following the expiration of his contract.

Frimpong is eyeing a return to Asante Kotoko for another role after hanging his boots.

"It's my dream to re-enter into football after I hang up my boots because it is everything to me,"

"Football is a game I really love the most so God willing after retiring I would love to venture into it again, therefore, I will do anything possible to achieve that aim so that if there’s any vacant position anywhere especially in Kotoko and I qualify for it, I will gladly grab it."

"I believe i have unfinished business with the club,” he said in a Q&A session with Whatsapp platform 'Kum Apem Group' on Sunday night.

Frimpong had an outstanding spell at Asante Kotoko as he won two Ghana Premier League titles and two FA Cup trophies.
