Mr. Kofi Poku, Vice Chairman of Ghana’s FA Cup Committee, has rubbished the mode of operation of ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas describing it as a “scam”.

Mr Poku disclosed that Anas and his Tiger Eye group tried to make him a victim of their “scam” by setting him up, but he was able to escape it.

“This scam happened to me but they couldn’t get me,” Mr Poku disclosed to the GNA Sports in an interview.

He added that, Anas mode of operation was a threat to society and should not be tolerated.

“I know some of his guys. They tried it on me but it failed. I don’t think we should encourage his style because it is not the best. If you are a journalist and you are conducting investigations, this is not the way to go about it.”

“Don’t intentionally set up people into doing evil and then go about saying they are evil.”

The seasoned football administrator condemned Anas, saying Anas was no “Angel” as portrayed in the eyes of the public.

He noted that, it was a “waste of time” for him to go and watch the ‘Number 12’ video because he did not see any “sense” in the video.

Anas is scheduled to release an undercover investigative film, "Number 12," about corruption and football in Ghana on Wednesday, June 6 in Accra.
