Belgian Pro League side Anderlecht is set to keep Francis Amuzu at the club after coming to life in the recently concluded season.

The Ghanaian international spent his formative days with the Purple and Whites before subsequently graduating from the academy team into the senior team in 2017.

After making an impression with his debut, late later failed to live up to expectations and couldn’t get regular playing time the following season.

Having been handed opportunities in the 2019/2020 season, Francis Amuzu grabbed his chances and managed to establish himself as one of the best players of the club.

Not only did he show improvement in his offensive play, but the attacker also exhibited laudable defensive plays that has caught the eye of his technical handlers.

In line with that, even though the club had in the past planned to let him go when a club comes calling, they have now decided to keep him at the club instead.

Francis Amuzu, 20, made 20 appearances in the 2019/2020 season where he scored 3 goals and provided 3 assists as well.

Footballghana.com sources say the forward is being scouted by Scottish giants Rangers and they may even make an approach when the summer transfer window comes around.
