Andre Ayew will arrive in Ghana on Tuesday night ahead of Saturday’s2015 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda.
The 24-year-old failed to secure a move to English side Queens Park Rangerson transfer day deadline on Monday night.
Ayew could not reach an agreement with the Tigers over his wages which led to the collapse of the deal having dashed to London early Monday to push through with the deal.
The Marseille winger will fly to his native country on Tuesday night ahead of the double-header against Uganda and Togo.
He will fly to Kumasi Wednesday morning to join the rest of his team mates to prepare for the game against the Cranes at the Baba Yara stadium on Saturday.
The second son of Ghana legend Abedi Pele is an integral member of the Black Stars squad and will be expected to play a leading role for the team in the post World Cup game.
