Ghanaian international Andre Ayew was named man-of-the-match after helping his Swansea City side to an impressive 1-0 win over rivals Cardiff City on Sunday afternoon.
The Black Stars skipper was handed the Skybet Championship player of the game award after another marvelous performance in for the Wales outfit which culminated into a hard fought victory over last season Premier League Club Cardiff City.
Ayew, 29, who was deployed as Swansea City's lone man upfront was visibly impressive through out the game and played a vital role in the build up to the only goal of the game.
Midfielder Ben Wilmot scored the the goal for the championship side on 24 minute after he was set up by club cult hero Wayne Routledge.
The victory was Ayew and Swansea's first in four games with their last victory coming on October 2 away at Charlton.
