Angry Leicester fans slam Schlupp after Chelsea defat

Leicester City fans descended heavily on their Ghanaian midfielder Jeffery Schlupp following their emphatic 3-0 thrashing at the hands on Chelsea on Saturday.

The utility player was out of sorts which resulted in coach Claudio Ranieri replacing him as Schlupp struggled to establish himself in the game.

Commenting on the defeat, suffered at Stamford Bridge through Costa, Hazard and Moses, Ranieri said:

"The second goal was a ricochet. It’s unbelievable that this happens every time. After that, we got back in the match, the second half was better, and we created some good chances, but they scored a very good goal. I can only say 'thank you' to our fans. Whether we win or we lose, they push us all the time. They are fantastic, thank you so much to them.

"I was also thinking also about the Champions League, lineup-wise. Today we had a very good, well-organised team. I wanted my players to be fresh, because the Champions League is now. Copenhagen is a tougher match than today. They are very organised, strong, and we must be focused".

Despite praising the fans for their vocal support during the match, the supporters were not happy over the performance of Schlupp and took to Twitter to express their displeasure.
