Anthony Annan wants to remain at Vitesse Arnhem after the expiration of his loan deal
Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan wants to make his loan move at Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem permanent.
The 25-year-old pocket-size midfield engineer joined the Dutch outfit on a six –month loan after he failed to nail down a first team appearance for German side Schalke 04.
The former Rosenborg player has since been a revelation at Vitesse where he is commanded a first team place and continues to delight fans in the Eredivisie.
Annan has two years on his current contract with the German side.
But the Black Stars player wants the loan deal which expires this summer made permanent.
“My contract with Schalke has another two years to run and I’m still talking to my manager as I do not know if Vitesse have the option to secure a permanent move,” Annan said.
“But I will love to continue from here. It is a great club with great ambitions.”
Vitesse could cough up a reported 2.5 Million Euros to convince the Bundesliga side to part ways with the Ghanaian international.
