Ex-Black Stars captain, CK Akunnor, has urged Anthony Annan to consider leaving Schalke 04 in search of a club where he can be guaranteed enough playing time.
The 27-year-old has made four appearances for the Royal Blues in all competitions and featured for only 29 minutes in three Bundesliga matches this season.
“Anthony Annan is a very good player and so if he is not getting playing and he thinks he can make a move, then he should move and get more playing time,” Akunnor told Power FM.
The former Hearts of Oak midfielder who has been on-loan at Vitesse Arnhem and Osasuna since joining Schalke 04 from Rosenborg for 2.5 million euros has recently been linked with a return to the Dutch league.
