The 2019 GFA Elections has hit a snag after another court injunction was served against the association on Tuesday.
Bankroller of third-division outfit Africa XI FC, Moses Dahama served the Normalisation Committee with a writ to stop all activities relating to the elections until the case against Wilfred Osei Palmer is fully heard and determined.
He has also asked a Tema High Court to stop all officials from doing anything in relation to the elections until all issues are sorted out.
“Palmer’ was disqualified from the presidential race due to breaches of Article 33(5)(c) of the Ghana General Regulations, as well as getting on the wrong side of GFA ethical committee ruling in 2017.
The Tema Youth FC chief is currently fighting against the NC’s ruling at FIFA and CAS.
This latest development comes just days after an Accra High Court dismissed an attempt by aggrieved Central Regional FA hopeful Roy Arthur to halt the process.
