Antalyaspor struggling to hold on to Samuel Inkoom

Turkish side Antalyaspor is desperate to hold on to their speedy right back Samuel Inkoom who has attracted interest from FC Porto and Besiktas.

Inkoom, joined Antalyaspor in January and featured in 14 league games where he excelled in almost all of them.

At 26 the Ghana international has experience at playing at the highest level after previously playing for FC Basel and Dnipro.

He has two world Cups under his belt after being a member of Ghana’s team at the 2010 and 2014 editions.

Having struggled in the last two years Inkoom has finally found form and fortune both on and off the field with Turkish media reporting that he could move to Besiktas six months after joining Antalyaspor.

The former Basel defender who can also play as a winger is seen as a jewel by Coach Jose Morais and it will be interesting to see if he will let go his reliable right back.

Portuguese giants FC Porto who are also in the market in search of a right back have monitored Inkoom and are willing to tempt him with an offer this summer.

Antalyaspor under new management have intentions of winning the league and will be eager to hold on to players like Inkoom and Makoun.
